About this speaker
My name is Martin and I play table tennis for Great Britain (GB Para TT), well to be honest I win at Table Tennis. I’m currently ranked in the top 16 in the world for my classification and I’m on route to qualify for the Paralympics. But I’m told what makes me inspirational is that I was born with no hands and only one leg. That’s right, I’ve excelled in a sport as demanding as Table Tennis with only one limb. So how hard do those obstacles you face feel now?
When I’m not training and competing at Table Tennis I work with people like you, from Business Leaders to unemployed youngsters and help you realise that you can achieve your goals. I’m told I’m an accomplished speaker, an inspirational coach and funny (what do you expect from a man brought up in Paisley & trains in Drumchapel, Glasgow).
